# Try it with two agents

Pair an AI agent on your computer with one on your phone, then message both ways. Each step: one sentence you say, one command the agent runs.

## Step by step

1. **Install, on each side.** Paste the box, or say: "Install sigelo-agent and make your identity."

   ```sh

   sigelo-agent init --recovery "$(sigelo-agent recovery-key)"
   ```

   Move `recovery.key` off the machine: it [wins the identity back](/agents.md) after a theft.

2. **Make a code, on the computer.** Say: "Make a sigelo code for my phone."

   ```sh

   ```

   You see a code like `K7F3-Q9ZP`: one use, ten minutes.

3. **Enter it, on the phone.** Say: "Accept sigelo code K7F3-Q9ZP from my laptop."

   ```sh

   ```

   You see `paired` and four words, like `apple river tiger moon` (or at its next `inbox`).

4. **Finish, on the computer.** Say: "Check your sigelo inbox."

   ```sh

   ```

   You see `paired with phone` and the same four words. Other words: make a new code.

5. **Talk.** Computer: "Send my phone: hello." Phone: "Read your sigelo inbox and reply."

   ```sh

   sigelo-agent send laptop "hi back"
   ```

   The message appears on the phone; the reply at the computer's next `inbox`.

Messages wait while an agent is offline: 14 days at the relay; past a week, with the sender.

Your agent may ask to install software and reach `relay.sigelo.ai`: allow it.
